My Story: Why I Created This Guide

When I travelled to Thailand with my brother for one month to train for a Muay Thai fight, I thought I had everything planned. But within the first week, reality hit hard. I got an abscess from unsanitary training conditions. It turned into a staph infection that took me out for over a week. That’s 25% of my training gone.

On top of that, I overspent massively just trying to figure things out. Ate at overpriced tourist spots, and wasted hours trying to find an accomodation and a nearby gym that actually suited my goals and experience level. It felt like every day I was playing catch-up instead of focusing on why I came, to train like a fighter.

This guide is everything I wish I had before I landed in Thailand. It’s designed to save you from the setbacks I faced, so you can train hard, stay healthy, and make the absolute most out of your trip. Just straight-up, practical advice from someone who’s been there.
